Health and Safety legislation requires you by law to regularly maintain your movable wall system. This includes inspection, testing, adjusting and lubricating parts where applicable, whilst carrying out any minor repairs to any defects. Additionally you will need to keep a suitable service log as evidence that the system is being properly and regularly maintained and will show when the services and repairs were carried out.
Accordial will issue and maintain a free Log Book.
It is a breach of statutory duty under Health and Safety law if you do not maintain, service or repair your movable wall system. As a result you could receive heavy fines or be prosecuted and a failure to exercise a duty of care, which results in injury, can result in a civil action where damages to the inured person may be awarded.
